Fantastic game Cam

Not losing sight of the fact Cam went 22/35 for 290 yards and 3 TD passes. Also 6 rushes for 53 yards.

Effortlessly drove the Panthers in the last 2 minutes for an easy game tying field goal or a game winning TD if the Ref doesn't call a ridiculous holding call on Smitty.

Sometimes things don't work out.

Still quite an effort by our stud QB.

Can I post my numbers in here too before we continue the gushing?

Cam's QB rating today in the first 3 quarters: 14/25 234 127.3

Cam's QB rating today in the 4th quarter: 7/10 56 0 0 75.4

Sack adjusted today: 7/10 48 0 0 65.3

In his 6 losses when tied or down in the 4th he's now averaging: 60.0 QB rating.

Sack adjusted: 52.0 in our 6 losses

2 fumbles - 14 points for the Vikings.

Number of comeback wins or winning drives for Cam Newton in our losses: 0.

He is turning into Romo and our fans are starting to sound like Cowgirl fans when Romo was doing this same poo before they opened their eyes.

How many holding penalties in the fourth quarter? How many times a 1st and goal got turned to a 3rd and 16? How many Nanee drops, how many times have we stopped the run in the 4th quarter, how many recievers have been unguarded at the end of game. Etc, etc.. You can't blame Cam "exclusively" for all our losses that's stupid.

Yeah, I'm a little sick of it too.

People forget very quickly where this team was the last 3 years in QB play.

Was Cam flawless today, no he was not, nor is in any top tier QB every week.

The difference is, with playoff caliber teams, when one side of the ball is down, one of the other two sides pick it up.

This team has one side, the offense, and nothing else, no player makers anywhere and god knows not on special teams.

...but, yeah, keep quoting those Cam statistics.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
