Because I really think Manning wants to become a coach, so this would be a good transition for both.

Well apparently the colts have the option to pick up the next 4 years on him in march. Question is, if they don't pick up the option can they still franchise him ? In an interview today he admitted he's still not healthy.should be interesting to see how this one plays out

Haven't everyone heard? Peyton Manning is fighting back to play come December. Manning will personally see to it that the Colts will be out of the Luck Sweepstakes.

I would love to see Luck go to Miami over other particular teams...to see them kick the sh1t out of New England for years would warm my heart.

San Francisco had a lot more talent than Miami. SF's 84/85 team allowed the fewest points in the NFL that year. In their other three superbowl years, they were among the top 5 in the league in fewest points allowed. They had a very good but relatively unknown defense.

If i'm Indy, I trade the pick for a ton of other picks and build my defense for the next 10 years. That way, if Manning comes back, you have a HOF QB for the next 3-5 years with a great defense.

With the trade, you will still likely have your choice of Landry Jones or Barkley, in which I would sit under Manning and hope to have the next Aaron Rodgers in waiting.
