double standard

As much as I appreciate Cam, and what hes done for this team, its been on him a few games. INT's and such. I wont say that he has NOT played well enough for us to win, because we should have beat the falcons too.. but he didnt make a play in the AZ game, we were shut down in the red zone against the Pack.. we've been close and hes a rookie, its not all his fault, and hes played beyond anyones expectations, but at the same time.. I think with a more seasoned QB, and a staff thats been around a bit more, we win at least 3-4 of the games we've lost.

I liike how people claim our offense is Top 5 based on YPG but our defense is Bottom 5 based on PPG.

Compare them equally, YPG or PPG.

Defense doesn't give up that many yards, but points are high because our offense and special teams put them in bad spots.

Curse our offense for driving down the field and scoring points! Don't they know we are trying to pin the opposing team inside the 20! Not on it!! Aghh I miss the Matt Moore days of safe, smart football!!!!

Turnovers gave the Saints and Vikes short fields. Opposing teams have scored points off the turnovers that gave them victories in each game we have lost except the Arizona game. Regardless of weather the D is getting stops or not, the Offense and Cam, need to protect the ball better as well. So everyone is right. The blame goes on the team, not just one side of the ball or the other. And I think Cam has and will tell you, that he needs to play better.

double standard that you are talking about you just did. the offense produced well for majority of the game as well, but came up short on some series. both sides are coming up short in games and could use more playmakers on both sides. simple we are growing and when all things start clicking look out NFL.

Not to mention 2 TD's on turnovers by the offense. We hold them to 3 twice, on crappy field position after drives and punt, or turn one of those fumbles into a touchdown, all of a sudden we win by 10-13.

Look at how many rushing yards we give up, they don't have to pass. Jesus you're oblivious.

You could say this about every team in the league. "Cut out the mistakes and we win"

Could have. Should have. Would have. But did not.

    • Watching Williams last night, guy has an arm and nfl ability  i see no future with Young.  either a player has nfl ability or they dont  cant survive on 20 or less points a game
    • Fowler: Bucs 23, Panthers 16. Baker Mayfield only won a single game when he was an unimpressive Carolina starter, but somehow he’s 5-0 when playing AGAINST the Panthers. For the Panthers to pull off this upset, they’ll need to score at least in the mid-20s. With Tampa Bay relatively healthy following a mini-bye (and Mike Evans’ return is huge), it feels like this will be too tough a task. Kaye: Bucs 24, Panthers 20. The win-loss-win-loss streak comes to an end. It’s hard to trust the play-calling following the loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers know what’s on the line, but they also knew last week, too. It’ll be close; I just have trouble trusting a positive outcome after a defeating one on the road. Zietlow: Panthers 38, Bucs 35. This prediction goes against conventional wisdom, but then again, conventional wisdom doesn’t seem to apply to these Panthers. This group, after all, has yet to lose back-to-back contests since Weeks 1 and 2. I think they win this one to make Week 18 interesting — and yes, that’s even with motivated Baker Mayfield and future Hall of Famer Mike Evans in good form. Why not?
    • Sam developed into a different player after he mostly sat for a year and learned a ton by being in that QB room under Shannahan in San Francisco.  Then he went to the Vikings who have a poo load of talent and another genius level offensive mind at HC in Kevin O Connel. I think they genuinely built up his confidence in a way he never did in New York or Charlotte.  He would not have been the same player if he stayed here IMO. Especially if he had been involved in that disaster season with Frank Reich in 2023, that might have cooked his confidence for good.  I guess you could argue we wouldn't have been that bad if we also kept cmc and dj i guess.
