That is possible. I suppose the fact that he didn’t get picked up at a better price (for him) and was sitting there having to accept a prove it deal, might say he was already at least halfway there. To crickets. I have a feeling he will get playing time and a chance to show he is capable. He could parlay this season into a contract here if it goes well for him. A prove it 2027 at RT could happen too. We have no clue what will unfold in the next 12 months right now. -

I think he will be unhappy if he isn't the starter. He took a one-year "prove it" contract essentially. If he can't prove he's a quality starting LT, his market will be crickets in the offseason.
