Wut? I put 20 gigs worth of files on my slim from the ipod

I understand that you transferred files from your old to your new, now can you take files from your new and put them back on the ipod?

I still like the 16gb alternative for $11. If you have the money pick up the 250gb hard drive for $90.

Ok, so you can use a USB flash drive up to 16 GB to expand the original 4GB size... total size 20 GB.

As for the expansion hard drive, does it have to be an official XBOX brand, or can you just pick one up at Staples/Wal-Mart/Target and use it? I know a few years back TIVO's required you to use their drives, other brands wouldn't work. I'd think MS would probably do the same.

The flash drive doesn't have to be MS, if that is what you're asking.

Actually, one time I had an external hard drive hooked to my xbox (fat32 obviously) and was able to play video off it easily. I think this was before the size limitation. Obviously the limitation is just greed, cause I had a 120gig external working fine via usb on it before.

PS3 has free online play and it uses the 2.5in sata HDDs found in laptops. I think in the long run you're getting a better value with it.

140$ does sound tempting though even to me but when you take into account the 50$ a year for the Xbox live service and a considerable cost for a large HDD for DLC content, the deal is not so lucrative.

For just 110$ more you can get a 160GB Playstation 3 and you'll never have to pay to play online with it. You'll be spending 100$ if you buy just two years of Xbox live. Also a 120GB 360 HDD will cost you 72$ on Amazon.

You already have a PS3 I see.

    • I don't go in for the draft crush stuff because it usually just ends up in people going off the deep end for "their guy". Surprisingly our OL staff has been pretty impressive the last few years. Don't see any point to be pessimistic about Freeling until we get to see him with some development under his belt in the summer. Either way for the long term the most logical reasoning dictates we made the most sensible investment with the pick given the plethora of circumstances that has revolved around our OL for years now.
    • Jake's elbow, or the Kasay out of bounds kick in the Super Bowl.   Luke's first concussion. The dirty hit on Cam in the Super Bowl. If he's going back in time, just pick up Julius Peppers from right before  he headed off to Chicago and bring him to this week, and set him back into the Panthers lineup as a young man again.
    • Bain is a beast. I won't deny it. I mentioned it in another thread, but one of Mesidor's sacks was only because Bain shoved Mesidor's body at the quarterback like he was bowling with him. I have never seen anything like it. I hate that the Bucs drafted him. That being said, Bain has to be perfect in order to compete week to week. He plays a high contact position in a game where the most athletic and lengthy have the advantage. I think he will still be a force, but his impact can be minimalized with right blockers and schemes. Freeling has the opposite problem. He's a long limbed, athletic puppy. He has ALL of the advantages physically. He just needs to add strength to his body and improve his technique. In two seasons, Freeling could end up being regarded as one of the best LTs, if not THE best in the game. That's where his potential is. Both have the potential to boom (Freeling's ceiling is much higher though), but Bain has the higher probability to bust. Just looking at it logically.
