lol....yes, because up north, women are completely different. They only gossip to each other's faces, right?

We are the same everywhere. North, South, East, West, we all gossip.

yeah, but southerners are especially conniving, especially when it comes to getting a dollar from someone.

Both of you need to watch a couple episodes of those Real Housewives of NJ/NY methinks.

Conniving people are everywhere, not just the South. There are people looking to screw you out of your money all over the world.

Ive met two faced people from here, up there, live here now but used to live up there and vice versa...I think its kinda like stupid people.....they're everywhere.

Oh I don't watch them....I see them made fun of on The Soup...that's how I would know...

that on top of every single girl I went to college with being from above the Mason Dixon line, wherever they argue it may be.

Sounds like something happened to sway you towards your opinion...to each his own.

Won't get an argument from me because they are everywhere. I am just saying in general terms I have always amazed how many girl "friends" I have seen down here smile to each other's faces and then stick the knife in as soon as they turn their back. Up North you usually see the knife coming and there is no pretending. If a b*tch don't like you, you know it.

Like I said, it's just in general terms... not even saying it's the majority of women down here because it's far from that. It is just more common here between girls for whatever reason. Besides, I'd still take a Southern girl over a Yankee b*tch 10 out of 10 times.

Not sure, but my guess would maybe be that they believe by not saying it to their face, they are preserving the "Southern Class" they are expected to uphold. Which would not be something northerners are expected to uphold? Just a guess though, I have no idea. Maybe girls down here are just cattier and enjoy the two-facedness.

i'm not sure that show is a good representation of what real people are like.

      Jack Roslovic: Only 2 other UFA, right-handed centers age 28 or under had more points (39) than him- Sam Bennett (51) and Pius Suter (46). There were 4 other centers age 33 and older who scored more: Gireaux (37), Marchand (37), Tavares (34), Granlund (33).  Unless the Canes go old, if they let Jack walk, they won't get a center who scored more.  Thoughts?

      It's important to differentiate criticism and hate. I can't speak for that individual you quoted. But most people who have been critical of the Tepper's have been so because both of them have made it a point to put themselves front and center and in the middle of team operations and we have been largely horrific more often than not as a result. If people are making derogatory remarks about her that should be met with an appropriate response but if people are being defensive just because she's being criticized all I can say is people should get used to it. Both her and David would have been getting absolutely skewered by the media and the fans if this were a big market franchise. The Lakers are finally being sold off after years and years of public criticism of Jeannie Buss and even though I'm the furthest you could go from being a Lakers fan just about anyone you could meet who is familiar with the NBA would say the criticism was certainly valid.
