Why does no one want Quinton Coples?

I hate UNC, but watching that game the other night he was a force. He's strong and doesn't give up on plays, I saw him chase down a VT player and throw him down pretty hard...I think he is the best defender in the draft. I know this board has a strange love affair with Greg Hardy who I don't even think is that great, but still, Coples can line up at DT and would make the entire team around him better. What's the knack on him? I sure didn't see him take any plays off...

Keiser was the only guy that ever got in the back field today from our d-line it seemed like, but our DEs are good?

keiser is a DE/3-4 OLB.

Other than that, CJ got some pressure, got held a bunch.

hardy made a couple plays.

Hardy is still young and looks good and CJ is quality, so I think anything else we bring in would be depth. Using our #1 on a position that is absolutely not a need would be a mistake IMO.

    • TMac is a good player and would've been the right pick if our QB could throw a ball farther than 40 yards. For this team's current build (run first, game management passing attack) and the fact that our TE's are laughably bad - the five on our roster have combined for less than 600 yards total, with 3 TDs - Warren should've been the pick.
    • If anyone feels like they can't have a conversation about Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career maybe assess why and how these conversations end this way instead of looking to shoot the messenger. Why is it okay to label anyone else on the team or coaching staff trash? Folks on the huddle and across the fanbase on social media have fully thrown anyone and everyone including rookie 8th overall pick TMac fully under the bus multiple times this season. But some of you guys apparently expect a pat on the back because Bryce Young successfully evaded a few potential sacks while Tyler Shough got consumed by our pass rush throughout the game and still had a superior performance. The state of this division is hilariously mediocre at best. Bryce Young is the only player on this roster who is allowed to have the lowest bar possible yet we have invested the most resources in him. It's lunacy.
