I can't remember...

I think i'm gonna have to have some of my wisdom teeth out. my top left one is impacted and i'm starting to feel the pressure... starting to hurt.

My question is... how much is this gonna cost me... what should i know going in... etc. etc. etc.

any insight would be much appreciated as I haven't had the time to find and/or seek out a dentist outside of the NYU dental school where I get my little shiat done. Not getting surgery there thankyouverymuch.

thanks in advance.

yea... though some small consolation, that really doesn't make me want to get teeth cut out of my skull any more.

you're making it sound a lot worse than it is. They knock you out and get it done quickly. Recovery is max 1 week. I was back at work after 3 days.

Just listen to what they say. If u f up and give urself dry socket then you're gonna be in a lot of pain.

Another PM sent.

Don't believe the hype.

I'll never understand why kids don't get them done on their parent's dime, when they are young and healthy, symptom free, and can recover at their leisure, much more quickly than an adult.

But whatevs, the logic of "maybe if I ignore it, it will go away" seems to help some people...but not for long.

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
