John Elway would be crazy to get rid of The Golden Calf of Bristol at this point. Sure, he's not the best QB, but he doesn't turn the ball over and at the same time, he does get points on offense. Give the man some time to develop. Go get a Quinton Couples in the draft, build a super defense. Go get a DeSean Jackson in free agency, a guy The Golden Calf of Bristol can't overthrow. Before you know it, The Golden Calf of Bristol will improve on accuracy, and you will have a good football team.

there's gotta be a middle ground between "can barely throw the ball, completes under 50% of his passes" and "throws 2 interceptions per game" as far as quarterbacks go, and you have to wonder where the Broncos would be with that middle ground.

Then again, The Golden Calf of Bristol certainly extends drives with his rushing ability, so maybe it's not a big deal if he uh, isn't the best passer.

      If the Bills were going to do this they should have cleaned house. Keeping Beane but making McDermott the fall guy is just delaying the inevitable.

      Honestly would love to get Yung Tro back as our 2C. He always did a good job of screening the goalie and helping us get those ugly goals we seemingly never get in the playoffs

      Beane gave McDermott enough firepower to win the Superbowl for several years, including this one, and McDermott did not get it done. Blaming Beane is just wrong. Moreover, there was a more lateral structure in the management from what Albert Breer said. McDermott had huge influence into personnel acquisitions and moves. Not to mention other questions regarding game and clock management through the years. He just didn't get it done. As opposed to trying to malign Brandon Beane, you need to be blaming the players for screwing the pooch (Josh included).
