i completely agree that we gave up waaaay too much for him. said it the second we took him. but everything else sounds like a conclusion drawn from looking at a stat sheet and not from watching the games. the proof is on tape.

So I apparently don't watch games?

Armanti Edwards has not had a single reception in his career.

The longest punt return of his career was 17 yards, no other returns over 10 yards..

but I guess that is progression from his 1 completion for 0 yards and 1 rush for 7 yard effort last year.

how many other recievers have caught a pass on this team besides smith, naane, and lafell? it's not like he's just missing his shots.

Don't get me wrong. I've always pulled for the guy, but to your question I raise another: How many other skill players drafted in the first 3 rounds of that draft have failed to record a stat at the position they were drafted to play?

and this is where hurney effed up. no one drafts projects in the first three rounds.

I never understood the reasoning behind bitching about failed picks. The draft is a lottery. Typically 2-3 players from a single draft class are still with the team after 4-5 years.

Greg Hardy looks great. LaFell is coming along and Gettis showed promise last season. Pike and Robert McClain are gone and Clausen won't be staying. Stanford and Norwood currently are depth at best (though I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a troll here that'll lead a witch hunt against them). Edwards has shown more improvement than the half of the draft class. Hopefully it'll be enough next year to start producing.

But anyways, herp derp we could've had a 2nd. Yea, and you could've had a V8 instead of the AIDS :/
