some of you guys act like The Golden Calf of Bristol NEVER thanks his team... he does, and he has a lot of positive things to say about them. yes he also slurps his holy Kool Aid and spits it all over anyone who interviews him, but the guy oozes credit for everyone other than himself, and some guys like that.

There isn't a QB in this league who doesn't end up with the credit for team victories - and some of the flack in defeats.

i don't think it matters to him nor should it. the only thing he needs to be looking at for motivation is the team's record, his number of failed drives, his number of completions, and his number of turnovers. let him own it. i don't care if it's his fault or not. i want him to feel like it's on his shoulders and that he'll do whatever it takes to make all of those better.i think the players should own this part of it. i'm sure they were excited for him getting that cover. knowing that it's largely their fault that they aren't getting the wins and that he isn't getting all the accolades i'm sure they feel he deserves should motivate those who aren't pulling their weight to start pulling it.

whatever it takes to make these guys strive for excellence i'm all for. i don't care if it's things that should or shouldn't matter.

Are u seriously saying that, not only should Cam own his own mistakes but that of the rest of the players or am I mis-interpreting ur post?

But let's be real...some QBs in this league are WAY more equal than others. I haven't really paid as close attention to how the NFL and the media operate as long and I've noticed it right away.

Can u honestly say The Golden Calf of Bristol isn't being cut a slack simply because his team is winning? Can u seriously say that his team is winning because of Tim and not because the rest of the team have stepped up their game to help him?

Cam is doing three times more than Tim, yet some on this site feels he isn't doing enough for his team. In the meantime, the rest of his team-mates aren't stepping up to help him win and no one seem to be calling them out for it.

Believe u/me...I read the articles and it is always what "Cam needs to do to help the Panthers" and how much "Cam is reviving Steve Smiths receiving stats," never the other way around like it is with Blaine, The Golden Calf of Bristol, and Dalton. It's like Cam never does eough.

Cam is getting paid three times less than Sam Bradford, yet he's demanded to do three times more than the other to ten drafted QBs whose name isn't Vick, Jamarcus, or Vince Young.

winning cures all ailments... goes for the media too. they love "winners," not so big on guys who are playing well even in losses, and despite that, I don't think anyone is talking poo about Cam, they've just moved on to the next 'big' story.

also what the fug are you talking about with russell/vick/young? you think those 3 guys were asked to do more than most white QBs drafted in the same area (the only thing that the 3 of them have in common is where they were drafted and their skin color, so...)? wat?
