I know the season isn't over but let's face it, we have a few pieces to add and some may come from FAcy. With that said, what are the wish lists?

Personally, my sexy signing is bringing Mario Williams home. Before the Hardy crowd chimes in, I love Hardy but we are one injury away from being COMPLETE poo on the DL. RocknRolla, is there enough restructure potential to bring him home? And all reports say Texans can't franchise him.

I know this is a "casual" discussion, but come on. If we are going to fork over that much money for defense, no way it's for the only solid part of the D this year.

But man oh man would he be awesome in a Panthers uniform.

I would really be okay with this, even if it was our only fa pickup. Id put him where TD plays instead of DE though. Lets scoop up a shutdown Dback, offensive tackle and DTs during the draft. Right there id say we are on the right track to recovery.

Id love to see us go after a big name DT, k ok nda wish we would have picked up cullen jenkins last year

I also love Mario Williams. Hardy is a good player, but how long will it be before he's dominating cats? Every Sunday, I see him being blocked by pretty much one guy, allowing opposing offenses to concentrate more on stopping CJ. Imagine if we had Williams and CJ on the field. Opposing o-lines would be crying in their sleep the night before each game. Give me Williams, and trade Hardy.

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
