Yesterday's game was the FIRST one where the Broncos were in a position to win at the end of the game BECAUSE of The Golden Calf of Bristol's play during the game.

Every other game he has won, they were there DESPITE his play during the game.

Guy definitely finds a way to make plays in the last minutes....but his first 55 minutes in every other game were atrocious.

I have never seen a QB the likes of The Golden Calf of Bristol who can look so shitty for 57 minutes.....and then manage to look good for 3 and win the game.

The differences are that a) you hated Cam before he even came into the league, and b) that you are reading a message board devoted to fans of the Carolina Panthers, a team that hasn't had anything to cheer/believe in since a brief fleeting moment in 2008 before Jake Delhomme completely fell off the face of the earth. Of course we are going to be happy with his play and believe that he is going to take us to the promise land. If you really have been here that long, there was a period in 2009 that a majority of posters felt that way about Matt Moore. I can't imagine that you would have been upset with that sentiment if you were lurking here at the time.

However, this is a national media outlet that is suggesting The Golden Calf of Bristol is the league's MVP at a time where Aaron Rodgers not only has guided his team to an undefeated record, but is having one of the greatest seasons of all time in terms of quarterback play. In any other year, the year Drew Brees is having would also be in that discussion. But this guy from Feaux Sports thinks that Timmy 4 completions is more important to his team in his half a season than both of those guys...what a joke.
