I Have To Keep Reminding Myself....

I think Cam is great for the Panthers and I'm a fan of him already. With that being said he needs to get out of here with all that "I'm a lion being taken out of a safari and put into a tarnished house" BULLpoo! after making plays like the ones he had in the second half. For someone that doesn't tolerate losing very much, he sure had a big hand in this one.

I'm not saying we lost b/c of Cam... I'm saying that when I see him struggle in the same game he was playing lights out, I wonder why his game changed so much from one half to the next.. then I remind myself that he is young, 22 to be exact, and his is handling things VERY well for a 22 year old

I have to keep reminding myself that our playcalling after the half (when we are winning) is just terrible, I have to keep reminding myself that our discipline is still terrible, I have to keep reminding myself that Rivera is no more of an aggressive playcaller (if he even calls plays at that) than John Fox, I have to keep reminding myself that Captain Munnerlyn is still not a starting caliber Cornerback, I have to keep reminding myself that Hurney is still one of the most inconsistent, and moronic GMs in the entire league, AND I HAVE TO KEEP REMINDING MYSELF THAT WE'RE GOING TO MAGICALLY GET BETTER NEXT YEAR.

SUPERBOWL!!! GO PANTHAS

The INT's were Cam's fault but he is a rookie; so while I'm upset at how it turned out, I'm not to surprised. When he is doing these things next year or in his third year, I will start getting seriously pissed.

But yeah, the defense played well enough to win today and Cam put them in a bad spot.

Anybody see Joe Webb get facemasked blatantly to force a fumble on the final play of the game from the five yard line to secure a win for the Lions. There is something seriously wrong with the NFL. I think that there were three holding penalties on kick returns in the second half for Carolina and several during passes. I think the refs and Mare are all down big in Vegas. fug the NFL.

They had a few good stops/plays, but if allowing 30+ points to the Falcons AGAIN is good enough than we as a fanbase don't have very high expectations of this defense even with all the injuries.

He made some costly mistakes, didn't go through his progressions and his accuracy was pretty bad in the second half also. He still has some growing up to do. He has the ability to do those things but he can't do it consistently just yet. When he learns to do those things consistently, he will be unstoppable.

the towel on the head thing is starting to get old also..

if you dont want a team that accepts losing them maybe its a good idea when the team goes into a 2nd half slump that you get the towel off your head and go fire your team up..

but then I remind myself.. he's only 22 years old, and that is still very young

i think hes mad when he puts the towel over his head not being happy with losing. cam is a on the feild leader. when he does good the overall team does good. he leads by example, defense just gave up when cam threw the second pick. but he is just 22 and a rookie qb that has had no defensive help and no offseason.

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
