Tebow - Da Bears

I'm on the edge, if they beat New England next week, I will convert.

If you watched the game, the Broncos are so protective of Tim that they're always there when he needs them. It seems even when Tim throws a bad ball, the receivers do everything they can to catch it. There seriously seem to be a, we're all in it to win" attitude about the Broncos and it's paying off.

See the difference between a team and their fans who believes in themselves and their QB. Now contrast that with this Panthers team and their fans who believe that every win is on the back of their rookie QB. And you seriously wonder why this team isn't winning.

I said from the begginning of this season, if you don't believe that you can win and do everything in your will to win, then you might as well not show up. The Panthers cannot win with only a couple of guys passionate about winning and everyone else, just riding their energy. It will not work.

See the difference between a QB who can play when the pressure is on the line versus one that can't?

The Golden Calf of Bristol first half QB rating: 9.5

4th quarter with 3 minutes left: perfect QB play.

Our QB? Great in the first half, crap in the 4th. The Golden Calf of Bristol and the Broncos were not just down by one score either. They were down by two, down 10 points with 3 minutes left.

7-1 as starter. Man he is amazing.

Can tell by your sig who you prefer. But let's be real, The Golden Calf of Bristol is not winning for his team. His team winning. Tim and the Broncos are showing that Football is a team sport and your QB does not have to go out and throw lights out in order for the team to win. And, the defense is the one seriously keeping this team in the game.

So much for believing that your QB needs to score a td everytime he touches the ball.

The Golden Calf of Bristol's a leader and a motivator and a clutch player. Just like Delhomme was for us. That's a huge part of being a quarterback and probably the biggest part of it. It's more important than accuracy, more important that skill, more important than athleticism. Making your team believe in you and themselves and stepping up when the game appears lost. You're not supposed to win it by yourself. You can't.

It's a team sport. But anytime you have a leader like that, who can do that do a team, you are way ahead of everyone else. John Fox and Delhomme could create that. The Golden Calf of Bristol and Fox are doing it all over again and the fans are right there with them.

They care about what matters.

Yeah, funny that you want Cam to play for 60 minutes and rack up TDs without mistakes, while you're quite fine with a QB who shows up 5 minutes before the game is over. I guess winning is everything with some folks.

And yes unlike Cam Newton, The Golden Calf of Bristol is genuinely loved by his fans. Cam is just an ends to a means with you Panther fans. And you seriously wonder why you're losing.

Yeah because one who shows up when it matters is better than one who doesn't and only shows up when it's easier. One's a winner and one's got great stats. I don't want Cam to play without mistakes.

Cam Newton:

1st half QB rating: 146.5 passer rating

3rd quarter: 80.2

4th quarter: 44.9

All year long when having to come back from behind. Please stop throwing around this "perfect" mentality. You're disrespectful to those that are even close to it. Cam's nowhere near perfect, nowhere near consistently good.

I'd be happy if he just gave me a consistent 80.0 in all 4 quarters. We'd win more games. No one can with that type of 4th quarter QB play. Nothing he did before matters when you play that poorly at the end.

You know the trick is these guys don't actually get BETTER in the 4th. Jake didn't get "better". In reality what happens is the pressure gets to everyone. The defense, the offense, all other teams. The ones that "get better" are simply the ones that just don't get affected as much by that pressure. So when the rest of the players on the field start making mistakes they automatically perform better against them because their own performance level doesn't take a nose dive.

That's what being clutch is all about. You don't actually get any better, but you're better at not losing your nerve and cool compared to everyone else. So when a great passer plummets in the 4th an average guy like The Golden Calf of Bristol or Jake who can just maintain their cool and level of play...end up looking like elite QB's.

So when you say he only "shows up in the 4th', it's not true. He's there every minute and that's his level of play compared to the rest of the NFL players on average for the first 3 quarters. But when that 4th quarter comes around, pressure eats away at the regular athlete while The Golden Calf of Bristol "steps up". In reality he's just continuing to play hard to the very end while the rest crumble.

are there morons out there really saying The Golden Calf of Bristol is better than Cam? take a look at how much each guy throws. take a look at their roster and their schemes. Which defense is better? This week was the first game where Cam had a major part in our loss, but dont let it make you stupid. The Golden Calf of Bristol and his team are clicking. Our team still has problems
