What scares me most about post-2011 season and beyond?

here's the thing, assuming no injuries this season we are likely a fringe playoff team. A contender? No. But to go from the horrid poo from a season ago to a couple key injuries from a playoff team is a huge leap. I would be excited too.

Do I think this is going to make him complacent? Ehhh, lets just hope Rivera gets in there and starts getting off the stench of losing

Oh hell yea, I am thrilled with the teams progress on offense. Gamble has been great on defense. CJ has held his own. We are headed in the right direction. I just hope complacency does not rule the day when the offseason comes around.

I heard Marty on 1110AM while driving home after the game. He was almost giddy about the first half performance, as was everybody at the stadium was for good reason. Here is my concern. I think Marty Hurney looks at this team and thinks we are set at d-line. I think he looks at this team and thinks we are set at CB and safety. I have a sick feeling that Marty will look back at this season and point the blame at injuries and lack of an offseason. I think Hurney will look at Armanti's one 30 yard punt return this season and see potential. I think he is the type of guy that will view the first half tape of all our games and think we are set at many positions that need an upgrade. I do not have much confidence in Marty to see our depth, defense and special teams for what they are. I think our flashes will make Marty overlook some of our needs.

If he does what you say and thinks hes all set, what is he going to do with the draft picks? donate them to Atlanta?

I don't know. Maybe trade them away to draft a I-AA QB-to-WR project or an undersized DE?

You never know with Marty. I think Marty has learned his lesson a little though.
