nope. and it didn't yesterday either when he said it and everyone started talking about it.

i've felt all along that he would be doing this. so far its been about learning what we need and what the guys we have in house can do and how we can make it work.

it's also been about seeing who wants it or not.

everything that should have been done given a full offseason they are doing now.

we are finding holes that need to be filled. if you aren't giving it everything you've got now or you just aren't playing up the the level you should be, then you're going to be shown the door and replaced with someone who can/will be what we want and need.

btw...i seriously doubt that this was the first the team had heard this. i'm sure they were called out in team meetings already.

I don't think we can get a real grasp of Rivera until atleast next year. He's yet to get HIS stamp on the Panthers.

His job is fine. He's not missing tackles and blowing coverages. Our playmakers on defense are almost all out. Rivera is doing just fine with what he has. Mare needs to do something though or hes gone

yeah, considering the situation he landed in, he's going to be given a lot of leeway.

Rivera's job is fine for now but if they start next season poorly, who knows what Richardson does.

Panthers could cut quite a few players and I wouldn't miss them. Legedu Naanee, the entire secondary excluding Gamble, Mike Goodson, etc.

Rivera said his coaches and himself were being evaluated. He said he has gone back and reviewed his performance.....said he has seen things he needs to change.

All Rivera needs is 1 actual offseason, a healthy D, and a couple moves. Dude will be AWESOME.
