I'm sure the Panthers "looked" at most every QB that came out last year. Doesn't mean they seriously considered taking him though.

I'm a Tarheel fan and he's done well with less on offense or about just as many weapons as we've got. He threw 300 Yds against a pretty decent defense with no Andre Johnson. He was in a Pro Style offense at UNC, so yes, in my view he would be a phenomenal back up.
