Battle for #2 Lafell vs gettis next year

This to me is gonna be the top battle going into training camp lafell has proven that its basically his to lose. Gettis battling an acl injury and weight loss is gonna have his hands full.

lafell has really come through as #2 since being promoted, I think we'll see bright things from him. Gettis should push him and with time may even end up being a "2a-2b" situation.

LaFell will be the #2 without a doubt if healthy.

He knows the playbook, and has proven he can make big catches and plays.

If for no other reason he's the #2 based soley off of his blocking skills. I hope Gettis does better than we all can imagine, but Gettis has a lot of catch up to play.

It's Lafell's to lose, and with the chemistry that him and Cam has developed, I don't see it happening.

Gettis did have time in training camp with the offense and isn't just sitting on the coach doing nothing, so I think he'll be OK as far as the playbook goes. But I doubt they'll rush him back...

it's lafell's to lose.

i fully expect a creative combination of smith/gettis/lafell next year... lots of deep routes with gettis on the outside and smitty and lafell crossing underneath. gettis' speed will add a new element to the bunch formations chudz has been running outside.

Lafell is a better route runner and blocker than Gettis, Gettis has speed and decent route running.
