I would think this would be addressed, however, not by a long shot our biggest problem. If we can fix the defense, we'd alt least make the pla offs. Th offense has proven their ability to put enough points on the board. I'd like to see a D that could put some pressure on the QB. That just aint happening. Then work on the D backs. SB time!

isnt the reason j kasay went to no because no kicker hurt his foot? if we have the chance Id say bring back john
bringing back kasay would be a horrible move.

if we are going to replace mare it has to be with someone better and who we don't have to spend another roster spot on because he can't kick-off, and someone with a future.

kasay is as old as dirt. we need someone that is going to be around for a long time. we need a young kasay.

let's try looking forward, shall we?

I would love for us to get a new kicker. I really would love to see us draft one so we can have a new kicker for the future. The only problem with drafting a kicker is having to develop him and he will probably have to take some time to learn the game. I would rather have a vet if we can find one good enough. I wish we could of had Akers. I wouldn't mind us getting a new punter as well.

Are their any good kickers worth getting? what is the common round kickers are drafted in?

We HAVE to replace him. If we had a kicker that could kick a 50 yarder our offense would become that much more lethal because they wouldn't have to get it to the 20 to maybe have a chance for 3.

If we don't get rid of him mark my words there will be a very important game that will make or break us most likely, 45+ yards and our hope will be on Mare. Want to bet he'll make it? I don't.

Mare drives me crazy, but we do have to look at ST coaching & ST OL play to some degree.

Mare has missed some clearly on his own & we should not be payinga guy that much $ to suck.

If he gets replaced it needs to be someone who can kick it thru the endzone on KOs & make the kicks.

To be real, it's likely Mare will be average to very good next year, be he here or elsewhere. I do not like him, but that is the likely reality.

      Boy the flyers look good early. Lots of bad plays and slow start by our team. Hope that changes before the score changes.

      I guess I should have stipulated outside the sacred cow.   I complained from year one that Bryce should compete for and win the starting job on his own merit but no he was just handed it. I have been right there with everyone that wants competition.  But I don’t really have a huge problem with it for this season the way it has gone because where are the viable people we don’t have to trade for? I actually am okay with tiny hands Pickett because he is so close to Bryce arm strength wise and to be honest, skill wise. Probably. And it is only a one year deal.  That also takes into account that the QB class is looking stacked next year and if Young fails miserably then we get either a reset or a real competition and there will be more guys that I would like looking at in the FA QB class next year as well.    I sort of accept where we are this year and look at it as another treading water year (at QB). I just want to get to next year with some clarity. More than anything. And they did empty out the room. Again, who was really there for us?  And I know it would not be a true competition at this point anyway. They are giving him the year, like it or not.    Also I don’t give a poo about winning games IF he sucks and or goes down after sucking because draft position and that stacked QB class.  And I want out from under him So Bad.     So I guess it is several factors that lessen my anxiety over his backup this particular season.    I am not trying to convince anyone, but you asked. That’s how I look at it.
