Our offense, a dream come true?

Just have to say how much Chud and Cam have made such a big difference in our offense this year. I never thought I'd see the day where we'd have a QB that is able to overthrow Steve Smith and actually able to let 89 fly instead of having to make him stop and turn around to make a miraculous catch.

Finally our offense doesn't have to compensate for a lack of good QB play. For years we have seen how much talent this offense has had only for it to be wasted, but not anymore. This offense is capable of blowing out anybody!

For once we are actually going to convert 3rd and short 90% of the time.

For once(in about a decade or so) we have not 1 but 2 tight ends capable of making the defense pay and those guys are so exciting to watch.

All the offense needs going into next season is to solidify the offensive line and bring in maybe 1 decent reliable WR and we should be golden.

Just want to say, I rooted for this team from day one. I rooted for this team harder than I did my own. Part was because of Cam and part was because I have a real soft spot for under-dog teams.

I am a bit disappointed because as the weeks went by, all I kept praying for was your defense to wake up. Every game that was played could have been yours had the defense held off the opposing team here or there or a few lucky breaks went the Panthers way.

Anyway, I do feel your offense kept your season relevant and fun to watch. I pray that they just simply gel more season after season and the same with your defense.

I'm hopefully optomistic that this team will either make the play off or at least be a wild card next season. You cannot keep throwing away games because the road to the SB will get more narrow everytime you have to re-group and re-adjust year in and out.

Speaking of Cam's throws...

We all remember that sick catch LaFell made last week for the TD. His body control was exceptional on that play and really makes me feel good about LaFell going forward.

But if you have a chance, go back and watch the throw from Cam. He threw the ball with his wrist, as he couldn't follow through due to a defender in his face. That was a truly incredible throw, and one that I don't think many, if any, other NFL QB's make.

If the team is a wild card then they made the playoffs. How exactly is this a situation where the word "or" applies?

    • Regardless of how we got here, any rational fan should be excited by how well Bryce played down the stretch. Anyone not happy about that level of play either doesn't know what they're looking at, or they're still trying to drive tired narratives. Obviously, Cam had an all-time rookie season, and I'm not putting the two in the same basket yet, but as someone who has watched every snap of Panthers football since the start of the new millennium (Im old), Bryce was playing at a higher level at the end of 2024 than Cam was at the end of 2012 (his 2nd season). Cam continued to develop into MVP form, something Bryce has to prove, but as someone who watched both (and will stan for Cam always), Bryce was playing at a higher level to end year 2 than Cam did.  Go watch the film if you dont believe me. None of that means anything for the future. But the people who said BY9 couldnt play in this league are wrong.   That being said, the only thing that matters is this year. #20 is perfectly fair IMO going into the season. I mean think about it, how would you rank him??!  His in-season turnaround is one of the wildest things I've ever seen... how do you rank a guy who looked like a massive bust in September and by January was consistently playing at a top 10 level? My excitement level is pretty damn high heading into this season. There were throws from the Chiefs game onward where Bryce had Drew Brees levels of anticipation. Im excited to see what he can do with a full deck on offense, something we really never gave Cam. Really hope and expect Bryce to move up this list this season.
    • Not really, the only QB's (other than Anthony Richardson) ranked below him are new to their teams as a placeholder starter or drafted in 2024 or 2025, not a lot of gymnastics to get there. It's not about how many that is, if it's 20, 12, or 2... It means there isn't a QB who's team has committed to them for the long term right now that they have ranked below Bryce. That's not a great thing.
    • The changes to onside kicks were ridiculous and ruined a significant part of the game     It was already a high risk low reward play.  Why change it?
