1st round Whitney Mercilus DE-he could shoot up draft boards as the best pass rusher in the draft and could light up the combine, maybe an aldon smith like climb up the draft boards

2nd round Dontari Poe DT- we need infusion of talent on the d-line and a big run plugging nose will be great to learn under Ron Edwards

4th round Nigel Bradham OLB- possible replacement for TD and great in coverage

5th round Cliff Harris CB- will slip because of character concerns and we could get a playmaking corner who's great on punt returns too

6th round Chris Rainey RB- could be our scatback like Darren sproles for the saints

7th round OL depth

Main thing is that Whitney Mercilus isn't considered a dominate naturally gifted Pass rusher like Aldon Smith. Also, currently he's falling because it's believed that his numbers were because of the over aggressive defense that Illinois ran.

He's an incredible reach at 8th or 9th overall. Right now it be a -25 or so based off of draft value rankings.

Also why are you (SBVG) coming into threads saying no to everyone. There's only a handful of prospects that fit at 8/9 and are expected to be there. They are Martin, Reiff, Kirkpatrick, Coples, Still and Perry. That's about it.

Gotta give him credit for creativity, he at least mixes his No's up. Kirkpatrick = No and Just No...even uses just a regular plain No from time to time as well.

If we're taking a DE, I'd rather have Ingram, Coples, or probably Andre Branch than Whitney. Whitney's undersized for 4-3 anyway.
