Things are changing. This is good.

I still think trading back could be a possiblitly, but lets not get into that bullpoo this early.

This is my first serious attempt at mocking our picks this season.

xoxo

Round 1

Michael Brockers DT/Beast LSU

Ask and he shall provide. Panthers DESPERATELY need better D-Line play. We need interior pass rush, we need someone to demand double teams, we need a beast. Brockers has that level of upside. Easy pick here.

Round 2

Andre Branch DE Clemson

Not a name many have been talking about, but kid has produced not sure what his final stat line was but:

12/21/11: Branch has had a strong senior season. Thus far in 2011, he has 73 tackles with 16 tackles for a loss, 10.5 sacks and one forced fumble.

Say it with me: MAKE THE D-LINE BETTER RUSH THE PASSER, BUST the RB at the LOS.

Round 3 -> Greg Olsen :lol:@ Bears

Round 4

Alex Hurst OT LSU

Big boy. Mauler in the Run game, needs work in Pass Pro. Could be a guard, could be a back up RT, could be a start RT. Versatile guy. Has won many awards for work ethic/leadership. BUILD UP THE fuging LINES.

Round 5

Keenan Robinson, OLB, Texas

http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=71569&draftyear=2012&genpos=OLB

Arkansas+v+Texas+7qRYfgUIAo4l.jpg

Guy is projected anywhere from 3-5 so stfu. Big/Strong/Fast/Smart lber guy. If nothing else he can run real fast on special teams.

Round 6

Chris Rainey, WR/RB/KR/PR///////////, Florida

http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=71439&draftyear=2012&genpos=WR

Chris+Rainey+Florida+Atlantic+v+Florida+AY5Se26JaBOl.jpg

Special Teams have been special ED teams for years with the Panthers. Rainey is 5ft nothing 100 nothing, but kid can be electricity. I doubt he ever blocks 1 punt in the NFL much less 6 but he can run a screen and return kicks like a fuging boss. Also Goodson is gonna be on the outs so 3rb is open.

Round 7.

Shaun Powell, P, Florida State

Punters dont get links and pictures.

Happy Trailers Baker you pooch punting raskle you.

The only punter who is better than Powell in 2011 is LSU freshman Brad Wing, but Powell leads the nation with 47 yards per punt this season. Nuff Said.

Don't get it. Rivera makes it a point to say he likes what we have at DT, but people have us taking DT first.

Our secondary was pathetic to the point Meeks got himself fired yet we'll do nothing to improve the position.

When has a coach come out and said.:

"Ya know guys, our Defensive line sucks fuging balls, we couldnt put presure on a shore in church, Im gonna draft every 300+ pound kid we can in the draft."

No issues. Probably depends on how much they value brokers & dre

I think Dre Kirkpatrick can be a quality player, but a lot of what I read says he is much more zone. IMO we need more guys that can stay in the back pockets of WRs along with MUCH MUCH more pressure from the Front 7

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
