Listening to all the Saints fans cry about Saturdays game.

Woman cutting my hair on Sunday morning: "omg I can't believe we lost last night!!!! Omg it was such crap!!!! Did you watch that game?"

"no, I had duty on the ship but I'm a panthers fan so I can't root for the saints."

"who are the panthers? I don't know much about football..."

"seems to be a common trait between saints fans."

Reminds me of the time I incensed some female Cardinal fan by mocking her when she said "yeah, kick dat feel gold" when the AZ kicker was attempting a PAT after they scored on us and the entire group with her got pisst off at me because they thought I was making fun of her accent/dialect/slang/gangsta-speak/whatever instead of pointing out her lingo mistake. They were all a bunch of stupid degenerates. We went back and forth all game and when Beason picked off the grocer to seal the victory I think I felt the best I ever have at a Panther game.

Of course they all just called me a racist as they left early never knowing that every time they did so it just cracked me up more because it proved how ******* stupid they all were.

Damn that was a fun day.

I had a similar experience with a chick in college in Winter of 2009. The class was talking about who we were as individuals, a kind of get to know your classmates thing, and I was talking about being a Carolina Panthers fan when this cute blonde (the poor girl fits every stereotype) said "But the Panthers suck. Why don't you pull for the Cowboys like everyone else?"

I said, "You just answered your own question."

    • And that makes you right.
    • Mel Kiper said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen wasn't a successful NFL starter too. Just because the experts make a claim doesnt mean it's true either.  Bryce may be a serviceable QB for someone. Serviceable QBs don't bring you a perennial winner or lead you to the playoffs over and over. Serviceable QBs also dont get 50m plus per year deals which is what a Bryce extension would look like.  The stats show he hasn't been even a serviceable QB in the 3 years he's been here. The eye test shows he hasn't put together 2 franchise QB salary games back to back in 3 years.  Complain all you want about people being negative, but people pointing out that Bryce is held to a different standard than anyone else on the team isn't complaining. It's stating the obvious.
    • We have big bodied WRs and 3 TEs who all have potential and each bring something different to the table. I never saw the need to go out there and try and find a new starting TE.  While it's nice to have a guy like McBride, Bowers, etc, I think a team's better use of the cap is by having TEs on rookie contracts or cheap vets, not having to pay elite TE money.
