Jonah is always typed cast and essentially is the same character in all his movies. Maybe they gave him a nomination because he wasn't playing an immature, sex crazed man-baby

I see Nolte, Clooney and Allen winning comfortably. Everything else is weak.

Clooney is the mature, serious, good looking version of Jonah Hill. He too is usually the same character in every movie.

Not a Clooney fan. Like what he does off the screen with his humanitarian stuff but as an actor, ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I didn't think Money Ball was all that great. I got kind of bored half way through. Andy Serkis was robbed for Planet of the Apes. I thought that was one of the best movies of the year and a big part of that was how invested you got in Caesars life.

They fail to mention at the end of the movie that this ground breaking new system he devised was never successful again.

It is very sad that this is the first Oscar nomination as best actor for Gary Oldman. The guy is excellent in every single role
