Walker had a triple-double tonight

Kemba seems to be getting more and more comfortable. Instead of forcing shots in the paint..he was drawing defenders and kicking to wide open players. If he can create and kick that way with guys like Reggie and Augustin..watch out. Then the threat of the three from his penetration will create openings for him to get to the basket.

Yes, it took him a while to get his 10th rebound in the 4th quarter but he got it. Good to see. I think he's the third person in Bobcats history to get one behind Stack Jack and Boris?

yeah, and they have all happened in the last two years if I'm not mistaken.

i wanna believe that when kemba gets some actual talent around him he can become a more consistent PG...i feel like b/c we are a team that severly lacks scoring that he plays like he has to jack up any shot he can...he shows signs of being able to play like a true PG just like last night against the wizards but he needs to find that consistency...i know he's just a rookie and he's playing on a really bad team but for him to be successful in the NBA he is gonna have to evolve his game into that of a true PG...that means running the offense and getting others involved before looking to score himself

Yeah I am on the Barnes train. I don't mind MKG but he doesn't seem like a superstar. He does a lot of things well but nothing great. He isn't someone you can rely on offenvisvely and put the ball in his hands.

And I am not too sure Biyombo is a PF. Sure doesn't posses the skills of a PF.

    • Canales was asked about Freeling at OTAs getting beat by Princely and Scourton.  He basically described the learning curve, and it sounds as if Freeling has a lot to learn before taking the job.  Walker gives us time.  Having said that, Motown talks like he has a few (2-3?) years left---and I would love to see it.   If you look at the contracts, It is a good bet that Hunt and Lewis are extended and given some guaranteed $$$ to lower the cap hit.  Lewis is about 29 and Hunt is 30, I believe.  That gives us about a 3-year window to start grooming their replacements.  Ickey seems to be the person who could be left without furniture in the musical chairs game.  I would move him to guard and use him like a Travelle Wharton--we have a good problem--we could have six or seven starting OL on the roster.  Of course, that won't last long.
    • I see this point and agree--However, someone is going to bite.  In fact, I think there will be some bluffing going on to make the desperate teams raise the stakes.  We shall see.
    • I could see a team like the Jets, Cardinals etc. bid a second round pick, get a year to see where he’s at, and still take a first round QB if he doesn’t show the right stuff. A risk well worth taking. I just wonder how much of a mental toll the last few months have taken on him?
