Kyle Rudolph was the consensus top TE in last year's draft. Pretty good prospect, easily fits the "top 2 round prospect" criteria you asked for. Ryan Grant is not good, not as good a RB as Kyle Rudolph will probably be at TE.

I like Kyle Rudolph. I think he could be a really great TE in the future. Still remains to be seen though.

Good points regardless. If he does turn out to be the real deal you will come out looking intelligent.

I've followed ND football for all of Floyd's years on the team. The guy isn't a burner by any means but is incredibly physical, can and will make any catch, and is an excellent downfield blocker. Runs great routes too. When he gets the ball, he becomes a battering ram and will bulldoze smaller CB's. The only concerns with him have been injuries and his two DUIs. IMO, if it weren't for the mess that the ND football team was this year, he could've been a top 15 prospect.

Um, Micheal Floyd is a solid #1 Wide out and has been consistent. Hill is riding his combine results..

Are you telling me Hill hasn't been consistent?

Because he has. He was always consistent in catching what came his way. The only problem was he rarely got the ball at GT, even compared to past GT great Megatron, who had 3.6 as many catches yet only a little over twice as many yards.

I believe Hill will have a better NFL career than Floyd, in addition to a much higher ceiling, which is why I'd take him before I take the ND receiver.

I like Hill, but I think Floyd will do better. Remember, those CBs who played against GT probably slacked up on the 4 times a game he would run a fly. I just think Floyd is a better player, kind of a smaller VJax.

Claiborne or this^^^^^^ Still, Jenkins, Floyd yummm

we can dream about Claiborne for a while, but i just dont see him falling THAT far. if he isnt in Cleveland or Tampa, he will be in St. Louis and also watch Jacksonville too.

IMO, if it weren't for the mess that the ND football team was this year, he could've been a top 15 prospect.

i think he's still that due to a WR needy team (Miami). if they sign Flynn, they cant have his weapons as Bess and Hartline and Bush. they need a WR in the worst way since Marshall is gone which is why i see them taking a WR high.

It's not hard to be consistent when you get 2 throws going your way in a run first offense.. I'd be shocked if he didn't catch that.

    • I've seen enough tape review to see that we run crossers...we have dudes in the middle of the field. I have to think that this is a harder area for someone of Bryce's stature to hit. You have to see directly over the center of the line and is probably where the most interceptions happen (he has thrown a LOT of his picks by not seeing a dude in the middle of the field).
    • I’m pretty sure we did end up getting the first in that drive, but I don’t remember. It was obviously a catch the ball didn’t move
    • While I don't think NFL games are fully rigged, it's certainly closer to a scripted outcome than we all think. The NFL by their own admission in court is not a fair and balanced sporting event. It is a managed entertainment product, a "spectacle" as they've put it, that now has sports betting as a huge financial pillar of their business model. It's ridicuously naive to still think the NFL isn't using referees to manage the games towards certain outcomes, using "replays in the booth" and overturning calls, choosing to overlook penalties at critical moments and calling questionable and sometimes phantom game changing penalties at other critical junctures of games. The NFL has always done this going as far back as the '60s, and they were investigated by the FBI in the '70s which found a large number of ownership groups had ties to the mob. So when the overwhelming majority of the moneyline bets were on the Panthers vs the Saints last week, and suddenly we see some strange and ticky tack penalties we've rarely seen called on the Panthers all year, I just know there's more going on behind the scenes. And suddenly next week, the Panthers will probably be nudged to a win, to keep the NFC South race interesting, as I see the Bucs are the favorite as of now and most moneyline bets will trend towards the Bucs until during the game when the Bucs are leading heading into the 4th quarter, and the Panthers are nudged to a win. At least, that's what the NFL and Vegas probably want to happen.
