According to the Charlotte Observer, the Panthers hope to find a backup QB whose skill-set "more closely resembles (Cam) Newton's."

The paper believes Wisconsin QB Russell Wilson could be a target. Wilson met with the Panthers at the Senior Bowl, and is "confident he could pick up (OC Rod) Chudzinski's offense quickly after learning the Badgers' playbook in three weeks last summer." A projected late-round pick due in part to his 5-foot-11 height, Wilson was officially clocked at 4.55 in the 40-yard dash at the Combine. He also turned in an 118-inch broad jump and 34-inch vertical leap.

Ladarious Green is the only TE I like. He ran low 4.5 yesterday. Should be available in late 3rd early 4th round.
