TB @ Canes...

FUG THE REFS... they handed the win to TB with that bullpoo call on Sutter. He was pushed from behind, tried to stop and even tried to jump over Giron to avoid contact... and Giron was 4-5 feet out of the crease! Then, the POS ref claims it was a roughing penalty. ROUGHING?! WTF?

NHL Refs = worst professional officials, period.

I was at the game...that 1st Stamkos goal was a thing of beauty.

But the double penaties against LaRose and Staal were killer...then the crap roughing call when he was trying to avoid Roloson (sorry...it was Giron?) and gets a shove from Stamkos.

Were these refs the same that missed the Jokinen trip not long ago?

Yes, one of them was (Tim Peel). In fact, in the post game interview with Jussi he talks about how that ref apologized to him about making the mistake on the ice tonight. Then, after the Sutter incident, Jussi asked for him to talk to the other ref and keep them from making another mistake and he told Jussi that there was nothing he could do...

Boychuk already sent back to Charlotte. That was quick.

Not to mention that phantom hooking /tripping call that put TB on the 5 on 3 power play.

Refs were God Awful....and the fans let them know it.

I was at the game and the fans were really giving it to the refs.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
