The Braves

Wren has put together an amazingly deep team. That Arizona trade will be talked about for years as Justin looks like an early MVP front runner and Chris Johnson has been ore than just a throw in player, he's got one of the hottest bats on the team and is earning more time at 3rd when Freeman gets back.

I still think Freeman is still going to have a monster year and Heyward has been hitting the ball hard, it's just a matter of time before he settles back in.

I actually think the Braves hold on to McCann and take the draft pick compensation at the end of the year. Barring injuries or getting a good prospect in return, I just don't think they are going to get anything better than his bat.

The only hole may come from whether or not Teheren settles in as the 5th starter. It's something to keep an eye on, but even then it's worth noting that Brandon Beachy should be available at the end of the year, although they may take a Medlen approach with him. If you remember, that guy was basically becoming our ace before tommy john.

And how lucky are we that Dempster rejected the Braves trade and we got that Maholm guy?

Looking good early for the Bravos.

I have no idea what Freddy Gonzalez is going to do when McCann and Freeman get back.

How in the world do you take Gattis or Johnson out of the lineup right now?

This team is fun to watch.

If there is one spot i'd like to see them try and upgrade it is at SS. I'm just not a Simmons fan.
