Gentlemen we have a CENTER

I want Davis as well but Biz plays like a C, not sure why so many look at his height and peg him as a PF.

It's not all about height, he's got the reach of a 7-2 NBA center and he just bitch smacked 7 of Howard's shots back at him and played him well for the second time this year. He always rebounds and plays defense, as long as he gets the minutes he can put up 6-12 points and dominate the paint.

This was against the best Center in the NBA, so it means quite a bit when your talking about upside.

Hes not a center??? He just went head to head against the best CENTER in the game. He might be 6-9 but he is only 19, already very strong, and has a huge wingspan. Hes definetely a center.

Pair him with Davis and teams will have a really tough time scoring inside on us. Then add a scorer on the wing to go with Gerald and Kemba and we will be playoff contenders again.

Do you guys think he's already the Bobcats best player?

I think he is, but he just hasn't gotten the consistency thing down yet. He's starting to score more effectively and he's a good rebounder, he's currently in the top 10 in blocks and is second in BSP48

It's only one game!!!!!!

And he's only 6'9!!!!!!! That's a PF!!!!!!!!

Anthony Davis is our center!!!!!!!!

It's not his first double double. The guy is blocking shots like Mourning already he is a center. He is a consistent player when you put him out there.

Dude has an incredible enthusiasm for the game. He may not ever be a dominate scorer... hell he may never average more than 10 points a game, but he has the potential to be a better Ben Wallace on the defensive end of the floor. He is an absolute game changer in the paint.

I have quickly developed a man crush on this guy.

And to the poster who said it was only one game, he has been playing like this for a while now. Basically since he has become the starter.

Also it isn't just his ridiculous wing span, it is also the fact that he runs like a deer and can jump out of the gym plus has a great motor.

    • First, am I wrong? I looked back over all his posts here and I didn't see anything positive other than Shough. Second, pretty sure if you had read the post I was responding to, you would have seen CRA made poo personal as well . You just choose to address me instead of him. Not sure why?????
    • I wanted XL but I felt he should have been a 2nd rounder but I understand the logic trading up just to get the option. A safety net for your gamble.    Certainly disappointed with his receivers development but i like his down field blocking and I imagine that's what's keeping him on the field.
    • Pretty sure it is a given Young lacks typical QB size and strength and he is here simply because his other attributes more than make up for it. My point is not to indicate anyone "settled" for him but rather to remind people that there have been plenty of big, strong QB's that have not lived up to expectations. Jamis Winston, Anthony Richardson, Trey Lance, JaMarcus Russel are a few examples. They all have the physical attributes coveted by teams and yet none have had sustained success in the NFL. And yes, there are QBs that do have both but there aren't many and some of the ones still playing were failures with their early teams. Saying Young is a bust simply based upon his size (and I do think it is as simple as that for a few guys around here) is unfair to both him and the team.
