How are the Pats so freaking smart? I don't understand this. Why can't our front office be a little more like them? Make some signings that make sense, and stock pile draft picks. I mean the Pats have 1,000 picks in the first 3 rounds. It's ridiculous.

Because our FO is stubborn. They truly feel like we are a Super Bowl team. We're not. They truly feel that building through the Draft is the best way. It's not. Building via it AND signing good talent in FA is the best way. But they don't want to admit they are wrong. So they'll continue to do business as always. And unless Cam can pull a Peyton Manning and win all by himself, we'll always be above-average.

while i don't agree with anyone wanting to tell me that the pats draft well, they are savvy wheelers and dealers when it comes to acquiring said picks. If they hit on more of their picks, they would be scary good.

Their front office, regardless of moves that didn't pan out for them.........is still the envy of the league because they constantly put themselves in situations to improve their team en masse.
