Where Are My California Panther Fans?

I am in San Diego....and I will be personally replying to everyone who said anything bad about SD.

Qualcomm is legit...one thing to worry about is all the fans that come up from Mexico, but other than that you are good. I've been to a few games (Raiders, Bengals, Panthers, Dolphins, Ravens) and never once rooted for the Chargers and always been fine. If you want a tailgate, I'm your man. If you want to go to the game together, piss off, I fuging hate football games. If you want some hookers and blow down at SDSU, I'll put you in touch.

Where in SD are you going to live?

You won't get much studying done but my god you will have a good time.

San Diegans are pussies, you'll be fine.

You will have good times there. I love that town.

:(

If you're a big dude, beware the rikshaw drivers in Gas Lamp. Bastards charge by the pound.

Those dudes are all from some shitty country like Turkey so you gotta ask them the price beforehand and try and get the chicks drivers because most of them are into anal.

California sucks.

And I thought this said "Where Are My Carolina Panthers Fans At?" which kind of stumped me at first.

No one cares about Northern California but Southern California is the biz

Ive never been to Qualcom, but just wanted to say that San Diego is a fuging cool place. I used to go there quite a bit when My sister lived at Camp Pendleton. You are going to love going to school there.

I live in Carlsbad and have the best of both worlds....it's quiet enough during the week but the village is still pretty cool and downtown isn't too far away. I can party when I want with friends but don't have drunk teens throwing up on my lawn at all hours of the night.

Pantha San is out in CA...

Yeah he's in Bakersfield, about 3-4 hours north of San Diego depending on LA traffic, I'm sure he'd love to go.

Aint nothing but hella smog in SoCal, nobody up here give a crap about no SoCal sissies, LOL

The laws.

Yeah the only laws i hate is the gun laws, can't own assault rifles, which becomes any semi auto, with a piston grip that is loaded with a detachable magazine, and you only can have ten round mags for all guns, even semi auto shotguns with pistol grips are illegal, the desert eagle 50 cal is outlawed and any 50 cal rifle also, but I still got my Smith and Wesson 460XVR, M14, SU16B and a Glock 21,

I'll be living in these brand new apartments... Sterling Alvarado just off the SDSU campus. This will be the first school year they are lived in. Four bedrooms, four bath, private balcony... two private pools and hot tubs, gyms, game rooms, lounges, amongst other things. For a completely furnished place it isn't so bad for $825 a month. Still cheaper for me living off-campus than on because I am an out of state student.

Also living with 3 lovely ladies from Cali...

Just be ready to never go back. My golf buddy is from Jersey, came out here when in the military. One day at the beach in January cured him of the North East. :P He's still a Giant fan, but you're ahead of the game already as a Panther fan. And good luck, you're going to have a great time.

Squirrel, I purchased my two tickets on eBay from a season ticket holder with 100% positive feedback and over 900+ transactions. He told me after I purchased two that he did have another two available if I needed them at a later date. He will ship them as soon as he receives his own in the mail (late July/early August). They were $150 each but like I said, just a few rows up from the field and at the 45-50 yard line right behind the Panther's bench. I'd like to go to the game with some Huddlers and true Panther fans...havent met many in my life :(

You're never going to step foot in Maine again...your living situation sounds legit. You better have your drinking game up to par, those kids over there can party. I have some friends that are on the 8 year plan to graduation because they party too much. Some semesters, one class was too much.

Enjoy it

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
