Anime..

There's also Outlaw Star, which is definitely a classic, and definitely awesome. I've heard Blackblood Brothers is decent, as well. And I think it's really short, like, 12 eps.
Black blood brothers was decent but felt like it ended before it ever started

I'm glad someone else said Cowboy Bebop, I thought my favorite anime was the worst ever or I was the only one that watched the best one.
I'm of the opinion that anyone that says Cowboy Bebop isn't the best anime of all time needs to get they're head examined, it had everything, great action, outstanding story, it also had it's lighter and funnier moments, it's everything you want anything to be, and it was never cheesy or lame.

It's pure Anime Gold

That Jin-Roh one looks pretty sweet. The Brigade soldiers remind me a lot of the Killzone soldiers. Hah. Thanks for the suggestions.

I also, lied, the last anime I saw was Summer Wars, not so long ago. I used to keep up with Naruto and Bleach, but they started getting very repetitive and I stopped watching. I haven't the slightest Idea what's going on with that anymore. I read the manga more often than watching the series anyway

the Naruto and Bleach Animes are crap when compared to the Manga, the Animes have a ton of filler episodes

I stopped watching bleach like 1-2 years ago. If you go back and rewatch the beginning of the series. the first 20 or so episodes don't even hint at all the fugery that'll happen around episodes 80+. I dropped it after it went on another 95840594 episode filler.

As for Naruto. I check wikipedia to see if it's off fillers and then watch it. Otherwise it's not worth it. Majority of the time, even in non-fillers, it feels like an episode didn't really accomplish much alongside of a story. I've found it much easier to just wait it out and then binge like 20 episodes. Because then you can just skip over the 349038049238049238243098023498432094823 flashbacks and continue for the 10 minutes of story you get per episode. I tried reading the manga but meh. I'm in no rush to be caught up with it. The only time i typically end up reading a manga for something that I started as an Anime is when they stop making the anime or the anime is in hiatus like Initial D and Ippo.

See the thing is the Manga came first and the Anime came much later for both series, I've been reading Naruto for years and have tried to watch the anime a few times but just can't get over how much it sucks compared to the Manga, same thing for Bleach, except that you can stop reading or watching Bleach and pick it up 40 episodes or chapters later and it's still the same as it was before.

I think that Naruto anime catching up with the manga constantly fugs up the anime with the ridiculous filler arcs and awkward pacing and flashbacks. The general rule of thumb is that the manga is typically always better so I'm not surprised about that. I only choose anime over manga because I can usually watch while doing some work. Pro-Multitasking.

@Ivan, it's already past that part in the anime now. and for High School of the Dead. I heard it was good but hit or miss as well.

That's so true. Like I said, it's definitely very short. But, what's weird about, there's lots of anime that I've seen that is only ~12 episodes, and yet, Black Blood Brothers felt like it was done well before the others were.

    • lol well that kinda ended up working out in the end, even though I still don't have my jersey yet. Was supposed to ship by tomorrow this time, but just got another email saying it was delayed another 3 weeks and because it's been delayed so long, I had to tell them to keep the order or cancel it, but gave me a 25% off my next order as an apology. Well, my original fear came true and they are now selling the FUSE version (but still not the Blue unfortunately) before the one I ordered was ever shipped. But that's awesome, because I was able to use that coupon to order the FUSE instead and then cancelled the original order.  So I got the jersey I wanted for only $6.30 more than the crappier version costs, and it also says it will be shipped immediately and get here early next week, or 2 weeks before the other was now supposed to be shipped out.
    • I've watched this and think we are well underway.  Believe it or not, Bryce is a big part of this.  The way he bounced back with such grace.  And we've got a lot of young players who want to make their mark, Dave is giving them an opportunity.  I loved our draft.  I like the number of guys we brought in, and they will help build the culture we want under Dave.  We're getting closer, and I think we'll see more wins this year than most of the board. The right culture breeds winning, and winning builds the right culture.  Imho, it's coming.
    • As others have said it's both. One creates the other. But it also takes time sometimes years. And there have been teams lately with new car smell coaching staffs that looked like they were putting it together quickly but things came crashing back down to Earth. Sustainability is the key. For that to happen the meddling of our owners has to stop and they cannot be tempted to return to their ways over any bump in the road either.
