I wouldn't be mad at Gimore. We need CB help and the guy is a physical 6'1 190. It'd obviously be more ideal in a trade down but I'd be stoked with Claiborne, Coples, Gilmore, or Cox. After Claiborne, Coples is still my favorite player in this draft and I think we take him if he's there.

How good is Floyd though? We could draft best Defensive player of need in 1st and get Jeffery in 2nd or some other WR that is available 9 picks into 2nd? Is Floyd that much better than those guys?

Is Floyd a lock to be a Pro-Bowl Wide-out?

If we draft Floyd in 1st, then who will be best Defensive player available in the 2nd and 4th rounds?

Point is, not every first.roumd pick by the Panthers, came to Charlotte for a visit.

I read that Mixon did an interview recently and stated that under Hurney, every first round pick has been in for a visit. Granted, I don't have the link, and granted, it was Mixon giving the news that I probably read on an inferior site...but take it for what it's worth.
