As you all are well aware I hate the Bobcats & pull for them to lose on a nightly basis.

However, if the Bobcats get screwed out of the #1 pick, it's going to make a lot of people sick. It's fuging disgusting if they end up picking third or fourth. We're talking about the worst team in the history of the NBA and one of the most embarrassing, pathetic "pro" (and I use that word very lightly) franchises ever. They deserve the #1 pick. Stern should give it to them because if they don't get Davis we could be looking at another season next year like the one they are going through now.

Personally, as I've went on record saying this, I think the lottery is rigged and I do believe they are going to miss out on Davis. The lottery system is a terrible gimmick that needs to be changed. So what if a team tanks for a higher pick? At least that proves they want to get better in the long run. The Panthers & Lions are excellent examples of how a few bad years can turn into something good. Look at the Nationals in baseball this year, too. The Marlins a couple years ago as well.

I know KT said he doesn't really mind if the Bobcats don't pick first because he thinks they'll end up with a stud anyway. Which could be true. You never know b/c this is a very talented draft. Kentucky and Carolina alone could have 9 players drafted in the top 20. But again, don't kid yourself. Davis is a big time player who will instantly bring so much media coverage to a team and provide a much needed facelift to anyone lucky enough to get him.

Once the bobcats get royally screwed, maybe some of you guys on here will understand a lot of peoples sentiment towards the NBA.

All I want to know is why didn't they crash the paint last night after they got into the bonus at 8:30 left in the 3rd quarter.

They were shooting well from the line too. No comprende

I assume you're talking about the bobcats hitting the boards and going inside.

Who is going to do that? Mullens is soft, and Biyombo is about as raw as a player as you can have at the pro level.

The thing about tonight is I am unsure who will play for the Knicks and how hard they will play. If they win or the 76ers lose they get Miami in the first round, if the lose and the 76ers beat the pistons they get Chicago in the first round.

We can't beat a team's 2nd string players.

No Mello....No Chandler....still 20 pt loss.

Geesh

Cho and MJ have a lot of work to do this offseason. What they now do in FA and draft will tell whether they are legit or not.

Jordan was a complete failure in Washington as a member of the FO and has been bad here. Continue to screw it up and he should just be written off.

Great player.....bad exec

Get ready to introduce Andre Drummond or Michael Kidd-Gilchrist as the Bobcats' 4th overall pick.

Drummond is a guy I would be worried about investing money in because he just seems like he doesn't give a fug. Character concerns I guess. But hell, this is the NBA we're talking about. A rap sheet is almost a must if you want to get drafted.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
