Your Favorite Place To Sit In Boa And Best Bang For Buck..

Recommended Posts

I've sat all over the south side, including right behind the Panthers' bench. As a Panther fan, its great to be there - it seems like you can whisper in their ears. As a football fan, though, you can't see a whole lot of the action. Row 1A is low... real low. In fact, the players standing on the sidelines can block your view of the action.

Sitting in the 500 level, you can see all the action on the field, but you don't get that up close and personal feeling you get from sitting down low. And I agree that's where the rowdiest fans are.

500 level on the north side... I've only seen one game from there. The section was dead. I surrounded by people playing and talking on phones and joking around with one another. I wish people like them would stay home and let Panthers fans have their tickets.

I think sitting mid-way or high on the lower bowl is a great elevation to watch the game. The 300s might be nice, but I'll have to wait to say for sure.

I now sit in 347, but used to be in 548...and will say I prefer the latter. Honestly though, JR was right when he said there isn't a bad seat in the stadium. And yes, you will get a lot of stupid answers from Huddlers in this thread for adding 'bang for your buck'.

I like upper deck as it is closest to the view you get from TV- see holes open up, receivers open, etc. Sun and shade are factors depending on the season, and like previous folks said, it is more rowdy. I think we get more of the opposing fans in our sections. Sometimes that's good, but generally they're pretty obnoxious.

Based on where I have sat, which is everywhere but club and box, I'd take anything in the 200 level. They are close enough to really make out what is happening eliminating the need to look at the jumbotron which is what I was doing in the 5s, and they have the looking down angle which eliminates the depth perception problem you sometimes encounter in the 1s.

Overall just being at the game and being a part of the action is the most fun you can have watching a game.

    • I have been looking for a dropped pass list and all that comes up is QBs. And team stats. When I do receivers I get the passing stats for a handful that threw passes this year.    I wanted to be accurate but anyhow I was looking because thought I remembered reading where T Mac had more drops than XL this year.  One of you many smarter than me people here,I would appreciate it if you know how to pull that up, please do. Thank you.    And yeah I know that isn’t all there is to it I just thought it was interesting.  Of course what the hell is a drop lol.
    • I agree with this and I think it's worth mentioning too that Bryce is not consistent on his placement and especially velocity and that in large part is driven by his footwork. We all know XL doesn't have the best hands and I don't know that he can overcome that. Cam always had the heater that just hit your hands and sank into your grip, where Bryce has some that are harder thrown, some soft. Bryce stepping into a pass looks so much different than that hop throw thing he does. I think XL really needs to hit the jugs machine and start learning how to catch all these different touch passes. TMac and Coker don't have these issues. If XL doesn't get some work in he's going to be out of the league in the next couple of years.
    • I think most people like XL from a personal standpoint. I don't think he's stupid either. Although if we are being realistic he is lacking in football IQ at this point in time and it cannot be disputed that he has not taken working on his craft seriously at all times given the body of work on the field. It speaks for itself. I myself have defended him at times given the circumstances of our QB room. But he is now in his third year and 25 years old. We are not in a position as a franchise to go around babying anyone especially first round draft picks. He needs to take his position and his football career seriously or he is going to end up selling used cars somewhere. I hope he realizes this and takes an extended break from social media because that mess certainly isn't going to increase his net worth if he ends up out of the league. And these hanger on types will disappear quick too once that money dries up and it surely will eventually. We'll see how he responds.
