My Sister In-Law's Car Caught Fire And Exploded Last Night.

As my sister in-law was returning to her apartment last night, she pulled her car into her parking lot and parked just in time to get out and unexpectedly watch her car explode.

Mazdas are known oil guzzlers. Check if she changed her oil on timely bases and ask her if she had an oil leak somewhere.

Also, if her engine was full of slugged and crap that can cause fire as well. Maintenance to clean your engine is pretty costly so is it possible she did not do it?

Yeah she would have no idea, she's completely car stupid. I tried to tell her to take it in regularly to at least have her fluids changed but I fully suspect that she just ran it into the ground.

I knew a girl once that told me she was pretty good with cars.

She said she could change her own oil, it just took a long time to pour 4 quarts of oil back in to that tiny little tube.
