It's supposed to be laproscopically but it could be open depending on what they find. His condition is worse than what was originally thought. He gallbladder is full of gallstones and diseased, has acute gallstone pancreatitis and his liver enzymes are elevated. He is pretty sickly.

Thanks for the thoughts.

Sorry to hear that. Hope it turns out to be an easier job than they think.

My dad had his spleen, gallbladder, and part of his pancreas taken out last December and it was done laproscopically...but that was at MUSC with the surgeon who helped develop the technique. But man it cuts down on PT time.

Wow! That's a lot at one time. He did well? How is he now?

Daniel's doctor is Dr. Raymond Washington. He is supposed to be the greatest around at what he does. Everyone has told us how great he is. We'll see how great he is.

Everything went great. Was able to do everything laporscopically. Dr said his gallbladder was pretty badly infected. He said normally bile is supposed to be green or black and he said Daniel's was white. Dr said he should feel much better very soon.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.
