Woot! Two hours of Wade Wilson not shutting up

He gets his own movie. Even though I wasn't a fan of what they did to him at the end of Wolverine, Deadpool was one of my favorite characters of the early nineties, along with Cable (yeah, I was one of the 3).

Funny, Deadpool and Cable were my favs also. I hated the Wolverine movie just because they ruined a great character in Deadpool. I would have rather them just left him out of the movie. How would they be able to make a good story for him now. It would have to take place between the begining and end of the Wolverine movie. I know it is 6 years missing, but how good can it be if you know it will lead to the crap that was at the end of Wolverine?

If you haven't seen the movie don't read below.........................

If you stayed until the very end of the credits, you seen deadpool's arm come from under the rubble and grab his head, which the mouth was not sealed shut anymore.

Also, for you REAL fans, you should know in the comics he has a healing ability beyond Wolverine's. He was given that power as part of Weapon X to heal his cancer. He can live as long as he has the will to live, meaning he can heal like wolv. and regrow limbs, organs etc, which explains the extra ending of him grabbing his head after it was taken off. (He originally had his heart taken out at the facility and left for dead, which he grew back, not made into the freak he is in Wolv. Orig.)

Deadpool is a kick ass character that I think Marvel used poorly in Comics, but good thing they realize his marketability for a movie. I'm glad Ryan gets a time to shine big in a solo action film, he's a great actor imo.

    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
    • According to Scott Fowler, in an article about former Panthers announcer applying for a job with the Ravens... what that job pays, incidentally, when the Ravens posted it publicly they said the salary would be $4,000 to $5,000 per game. An NFL season consists of 20-24 games, including the preseason and potential playoff games, so it will end up somewhere between $80,000 and $120,000 a year. The person hired will be an independent contractor, which is commonplace in the NFL these days for team broadcasters, and also have other radio and TV hosting assignments.  https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article315839800.html
