Anyone in the market for a weekend/vacation home?

Wifey and I have decided to sell our 2010 Keystone Residence 41' RV. It is currently set up in a park near Surf City/Topsail Island with 1 queen and a fold out sofa/inflatable full-size bed, shower, full size toilet, gas range/oven, microwave, refrigerator, central furnace, AC, 2x ceiling fans, a 41'x12' deck, awning, and lots of extras ranging from a second AC unit, optional sprinkler system for the yard, and a 2005 Panthers colored EZ GO golf cart if whoever buys it wants that too.

The park it is in is gated, quiet, has a pool and a bath house, and is seconds from a dirt ramp at the sound or minutes to the beach itself.

I just thought I'd post here in case anyone was interested.

If you think you have some serious interest, let me know via PM or posting in this thread.

We're not even sure what we want to ask at the moment, but if anyone is interested I'll let you know.

Thanks!

Im curious as to how much you worry when a hurricane looks like it might make landfall close by - thats my biggest problem with owning barrier Island property - I am also curious as to what the insurance runs per year - was that your ad on cl Wilmington today?

We've only had it a year and a half. When Irene came through last year, I went down the day before and tied everything down. The only problem we had was that some of the plastic skirting had blown off, but my neighbors had gathered the few pieces and put them behind our camper for us. When I went back down the following weekend, I just snapped them back in.

I think insurance is around $200 a year, which isn't bad.

Wasn't me that put the ad on CL.

My wife and I are looking for a golf cart. What are you asking?

At the moment it is only for sale as a part of a package deal with the place (as more of an incentive to a potential buyer), and my wife would actually like to keep it and bring it home if we can get away with it...

HOWEVER, if any of that changes, I'll let you know...

We paid $3500 for it a year ago and had to put $500 worth of batteries in it this summer, but if we sold it outright down the road we'd probably ask at least $3200...

    • It probably would be. Given that most 6th and 7th rounders aren't NFL game day material except on the Panthers, the pick might improve us slightly with a drafted player, but I'd like to see us actually be able to open up the field. I do think some of our offensive problem stem from defenses aren't afraid of Bryce's arm. They cover a short field and that makes life a lot easier for them.  If it doesn't work though, unless we get rid of the scouting department and whatever drafting algorithm Dave is making us use, it won't really matter anyway.
    • I think the Baker/Darnold thing has been overblown. QBs that struggle with the team that drafts them and go on to find success elsewhere often do end up going to multiple new teams before they figure it out and/or find the right situation. It just so happened that we traded for both guys in back-to-back years and neither player had quite figured it out yet. Baker, I think, needed more time and a better supporting cast. Darnold, I think, benefitted from a year on the bench in San Francisco a ton. I don't really have any ill will towards either of them. I think they both came here with the best intentions after coming from difficult circumstances; unfortunately the Panthers were - and still are, it seems - also in the process of figuring things out.
    • At this point this is all I want from this team. I'm done hoping for wins. I just want to see a competitive team for 4 quarters. Come out of the gate hard and don't give up no matter the score.
