lol..anything can happen..they have the tools to be a good team in a few years..but IDK about this

“I won’t make a prediction about how many games we’re going to win,” Smith wrote recently at smith34.com, “but I will say this: We will definitely make the playoffs this season.”

a lil shot at the panthers...since we did play them..but i cant say too much seeing as he put 100 on us

“Believe it or not we weren’t far off last year,” he wrote. “Almost every game we could have won, we were one play or one player short. Except for Tennessee on Thanksgiving, they just came out and beat us to sleep. They manhandled us, but nobody else did.”

If I was the Detroit FO, I'd say....

We will definitely make the playoffs? OK, here's your new contract. If we make the playoffs, you get paid double what you are now. If not, you get the league minimum, sign here :D

If he thinks they definitely get to the playoffs, then its a good deal. But, gee, I wonder what he would do....

They are in a weak division...NFC North..GB MInn, Chicago....they dont have the strongest schedule....I just dont know......Would be one of the biggest turnarounds i have ever seen. from winless to the playoffs.....that would be at least plus 10 in wins last year....Its possible but i dont think it will happen

I wouldn't say they're in a week division at all, though I know none of the teams had really great records or anything. With Cutler, I think Chicago is on the up and up.

I think Green Bay's defense will be much improved next year. And Minnesota, well, we all know that with good quarterback play they can be a very dangerous team.

A weak division would be like the NFC West. :P

    • yeah but whats a drop, because at this point bryce defenders point to anything that hits a part of the receivers body as a drop  like when renfrow had to stop and twist and reach behind himself yesterday are we calling that a drop? because that's a terrible throw. Just because someone can get a paw on it doesn't mean it should have been caught or wasn't a bad throw  and his defenders get so caught up in this that they ignore the simple fact that this kind of production is just what the panthers have gotten from the QB position since he's been here, and that stretches across multiple coaching staffs and wide receiver rooms.  What's the common factor in three years of 12/25, 125 yards, maybe a TD, maybe a lost fumble, maybe an interception, around 20 points scored when things are going well
    • We'll see. I mean, I don't see us winning many games where we barely throw for under 130 yards and 0 TDs. So I'm not worried about that. If we end up with a better than expected record then Bryce will have to put up significantly better numbers.
    • Go watch his call placement to Renfrow on the year.   Or basically every WR that isn’t an eraser like TMac who can just pull of some insanity.   he should have a high completion % given where a mass % of his throw locations are
