So in closing of the complete raping of you all's opinions on the matter

The Saints*** got roughly 1500+yrds on the ground 1000 yards in the air and 20 TD's last year on a cap hit roughly 7 million

The PANTHERS got Roughly 1500+ yards on the ground 500 yards in the air and 12 TD's for a cap hit of 10million.

500 Yards...8 TD's on 3 million less

All of this doesn't even get into the clusterfug that it will be when we pay Stew like 50mill of 5 years or some bullshit.

The same can be done with less with how the league is set up right now.

Perhaps we will be the team that brings back the ground attack.

Perhaps we won't.

Bottom line is I along with many think we are paying DWill too much and will ultimately do the same with Stew, to the detriment of the team as a whole.

Dwill and stew are still ver very young RBs in this league due to the lack of carries they split. Both of them came into the league having to share carries the first day. They're no MJD, Steven Jackson, Forte, or AP who carries a bulk of load year in and year out.

A good running game helps the passing game and defense no matter what. And it still do even when we're in a passing league now.

No. Passing attacks are the legit threats every year.

Rushing attacks are threats every couple seasons...pending they get the ST play and defensive play to go with it.

If Dwill was a feature back on another team, He'd be just as good, if not better than Forte or Foster. This was the same dude who ran 18 tds in one year not long ago spiltting time with Stew. Tell me when Forte or Foster ever ran in 18tds.

Hurney is smart enough to know what he's doin. Quit questioning why we have so many good backs on our team. Hurney will get something out of Dwill or Stew by next offseason. Either by trading Dwill or Franchising Stew, keeping him or trading him. Or even keeping both of them, Hurney is not a dumb man. We all ain't GM so none of our opinion really matters. You take DWill out of this offense and the running game loses its homerun threat. Stewart is great, but hes more likely to run you over than break one 60 yards. Both guys would be 1500 yard 10 + TD guys, if they were the feature back...but in our situation the sum is definitely greater than the individual parts.

Stewart is a 4.48 back, he may not have the elusiveness of Williams but he can break the long run just as easy.
