Value Based Drafting

Recommended Posts

First off, lemme know if I'm not talking about the same thing...

I agree with this because now that most team's don't have workhorse backs anymore, the first two rounds aren't as top heavy with RBs.

I'm leaning towards this rather than my typical RB-RB or RB-QB strategy in the first two rounds...making my own top 30/40 or so and picking the highest who's available for the first few rounds

im a BIG fan of football diehards panthro. also of value based. this idea basically comes from the Cowboys during the Jimmy Johnson era where they understood how to correctly put a value on a player.

do this and you draft calmly and wisely.

I'm a DD user...and while I do use the utility, I don't go directly by what it tells me. I factor in draft pick spot and odds of still getting that particular player when he comes around. I never go blindly by what tools tell me to pick. Lot of other factors go into decisions. Like playoff schedules...etc.
