Carolina Panthers vs. NFC East

SCP

Recommended Posts

As some of you know, I travel quite a bit because of my job. Since the NFC East is on our schedule this year, I took the time to visit each facility and put together a scouting report. I still need to hit up DC, but perhaps somebody can assist because I don't have plans to be there this fall. Here are my thoughts about the Cowboys, Giants, and Eagles.

Now, I know this may not be PFF statistics or even remotely scientific, but hopefully it helps you understand how I feel about these teams and their fans.,

Panthers vs the NFC East

New York Giants trails Carolina Panthers (3-4) (Panthers 1-0 in playoffs)

Carolina Panthers trails Dallas Cowboys (3-8) (Panthers 2-0 in playoffs)

Carolina Panthers trails Philadelphia Eagles (2-5) (Panthers 1-0 in Playoffs)

Carolina Panthers trails Washington Redskins (3-7) (Skins don't make the playoffs)

Hey, fug stats. This is a picture thread.

Your version of "the bird" lacks swag.

LOL swag. Dude, I'm a fugin 37 year old dude that drives his wifes minivan when we go on vacation. I pay my bills the day I get them in the mail. I still keep a hard copy check book ledger. I DVR Clifford The Big Red Dog and watch that poo with my kids. I coach flag football and call my defense The Magnificent Seven. I bought an air compressor because I think paying for tire air at the gas station is a fugin scam. I googled poo to find out when the best time is to prune my Crape Myrtles. I went into a god damned Staples today to take a poop and bought a pack of gum before I left because I felt guilty for destroying their restroom. The last fugin thing I am concerned about is swag.

    • I think the Bevell hire has more to do with adding actual veteran head coaching experience to the staff than anything else. But I do wholeheartedly agree that the obsession in general with Seattle needs to come to an end. I mean we plucked the one guy there to be our GM who turned out to be our worst GM in franchise history in just a few short years and that's really saying something given our history there. Clearly trying to mimick Seattle in any way has not been productive. As far as Idzik many of us have asked the same question but at this point in time it doesn't really matter anymore because Canales is either going to lead this franchise to a winning record or he will be shown the door.
    • Why wasn't here even considered? Better record and save % than any of t he 3 goalies on the US squad.
    • That’s why Bevell is a good move. Idzik might not be chopped liver, he is just inexperienced and even less ready to be the play caller than Canales. I still say the playbook is limited which is a hinderance to calling plays, I would imagine.    Anyway Beavis lol… no Bevell, got to consecutive SBs as an OC and won one with 48 points or something. Should have won the second one. And had several more good years there.    They were the team we had to learn how to beat it took us til the third year I think before we could go into Seattle and successfully compete.   That is glass half full thinking, yep, but that is head and shoulders over what we have had here for a while. Certainly now.     In addition.. It was Canales’ boss. He knew more then , I would bet he knows more now. I can’t look at this as anything but a potential positive thing.  Hell he might be the guy that can look at Dave and say what the fug are you doing? And Dave will listen. I think I can hope for that.  Maybe not.
