Jon Gruden: GO PANTHERS!

No offense, but I could care less what a Redskin fan predicts for our season. Especially one that's from North Carolina and delusional as you.

I don't live in North Carolina and i'm far from delusional. I have the Panthers going 9-7 how is that delusional?

I caught this at lunch and it was an interesting segment. It was "more or less" and the numbers for New Orleans and Atlanta were 10 while the numbers for Tampa and Carolina were 7. Gruden broke the rules by picking Atlanta to win exactly 10. He said New Orleans would win "more" than 10 due to their incredible home field advantage. Said they would win 7 or even 8 at home this year.

OP did a good job summarizing what was said about the Panthers but it was very interesting that Gruden came across as a true fan of the Panthers, fwiw.

Oh yeah, could be sour grapes but he predicts Less than 7 wins for bucs. Says new regime, new system too much to overcome in tough division.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
