Here are a few things worth reading regarding Dwan Edwards..

Bills players expressed surprise and disappointment in posting notes on their Twitter accounts after learning of Edwards' being released.

“Dwan was a beast this year in camp,” center Eric Wood wrote. “I wish him well. Great teammate and a great guy.”

Linebacker Nick Barnett wrote that he was “Absolutely disappointed,” and added, “Can not have enough guys on your team like him!!”

"I know they want to play fast and make plays," Edwards said. "They have great linebackers and I want to allow them to run around and make plays like they're capable of. I want to come in and help anyway I can."

DT -- Dwan Edwards, Bills: He is a decent player who has started at times. Just caught in a numbers deal in the Bills' new 4-3.

On Preseason Performance

While they too often seemed so focused on getting to the quarterback that they gave up short screens and runs up the middle, they began to settle down as game progressed and rotated in second-stringers with no real drop in production (Chris Kelsay and Dwan Edwards especially).

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
