Reddit/NFL Power Rankings

I still think we will end up abetted team than Atlanta.

We gave better QB, RB's, OL, LB

They have better WR and DB

DL I think is a push

Honestly, I feel DB's are equal and we have the edge in DL. They can't stop the run and Abraham will e ventually collapse on the field due to old age. The big thing is Atlanta can't win outside the Dome, or when it counts. If they make the playoffs, it's a waste of a spot.

The opener with the Bucs, the next two games with Saints*** and Giants will tell all we probably need to know about the Panthers and how they stack up.

A game they should win and two games they can win. The question is will they?

A big difference in being 3-0 or 2-1 and competitive in a loss than being 0-3 and 1-2. It's up them to make a statement that involves Ws.

Grimes-Robinson-Samuel > Gamble-Munnerlyn-Norman

The safeties are probably a push.

I do think our DL is better tho

I don't think 17 teams make the playoffs. Looks like they have us going the way of /jailbait.

it's the beginning of the season power rankings, meaning no one has played a game and based onlast year and the preseason, this is where the teams rank.

I'd call it a fair assessment considering we haven't proven anything yet.

Not true. They can lose all those games and still make the playoffs. The Panthers have started some seasons very poorly but then play the second half of the season like one of the best teams in the NFL. You never know. I hope we look good against them but going 0-3 to start the season isn't the end of the world.

The Patriots have had to lean on Maye’s arm more heavily than ideal, and adding a runner capable of producing efficient yardage would give the offense better balance.
    • There aren't 32 legitimate starting caliber QBs in the league. Just like when we were starting Bell and Chandler at OT, did that make them legit "starters"? I mean, technically I guess it did since they were indeed starting but they sure as hell weren't starting caliber players. If you have the 30th best starting QB in the league, you desperately need a starting QB and there's likely backups on other rosters better than your starter just like there were better backup OTs on other rosters than Bell and Chandler.
    • Name a QB as bad as Bryce who had their 5th picked up?  You certainly can name better ones who didn't have it picked up.
