I'm done...

Watched the last ep of this season last night, and I'm not tuning in next season. The characters have all become flat and predictable down to the point that some of them are even caricatures of the role they started the series as. It never was much more than guilty pleasure TV but this last season I kept hoping the club would get burned to the ground with everyone locked inside.

i don't understand everyone who says this season hasn't been good... this season has been one of the best imo. definitely better than last season

I haven't heard that anywhere outside of this thread, either in person or on other sites. This place is the weirdest place.

*Otto..and damn, that scene had me wincing.

A bunch of his scenes did that to me this season. When he asked to smell the perfume on Tara's wrist, I think my fingers were in my ears and I was whispering "don't bite it don't bite it"

I'm honestly not 100% convinced it was her. Mostly based on Sutter saying that the US Marshall character "will do something that will be the key of season 6 and into season 7." Well, he didn't actually do a damned thing, unless he somehow got the dirt on Tara.

I guess I enjoy the season. However, it didn't leave me wanting more like the last three seasons did. Perhaps that is due to the fact that I just don't give a rat's turd about the Tara Knowles character as Maggie Siff's acting just bores me. I will say this, I am glad to see the Wendy character coming back into play.

As for this season, I just think Kurt Sutter was out to shock and awe people rather than tell a story. Not a bad season, but probably right there with Season 3 as a filler season.

This is my thoughts as well.

She is still a cold hearted bitch regardless. :)

Of course, most of the characters on this show are cold hearted.

    • Former league executive and current NFL.com analyst Marc Ross recently named his top second-year breakout candidates for the upcoming campaign. Ross includes Legette, who may be helped out by his team's latest first-round selection. He writes: Legette had a slow start to his NFL career, catching 49 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns last season. Some of the struggles can be tied to his own growing pains -- he had eight drops on 81 targets, according to Pro Football Focus -- but he had also had to navigate the quarterback shuffle between Bryce Young and Andy Dalton early in Dave Canales' first season leading the Panthers. Canales recently said he believes Carolina has a DK Metcalf-like talent in Legette, who had foot surgery this offseason but was cleared to resume work in early April, and that having a full offseason alongside Young, who took a significant step forward in 2024, could lead to a breakout result in 2025. I anticipate it will also help that Carolina invested another first-round pick in a wide receiver, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, to complement Legette in the pass game. McMillan's presence, however, could take some pressure off Legette—who may be able to roam around in a more natural playmaking role. With the 6-foot-4 All-American likely to take on the bulk of the volume from Young, Legette should have some cleaner shots to break out downfield and in the box score.     https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/06/panthers-wr-xaiver-legette-top-breakout-candidates-2025/83475176007/?taid=681a4610ede05d000149b376&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
    • my understanding is a big time throw, could be a 5-10 yard slant to Adam Thielen given AT isn't going to separate.
