Proven fact

Properly fitted helmets are the best defense against concussions.

Its not even up for debate

Lose Cam for 2 or 3 weeks to post concussions symptoms and I don't think anyone will care what he prefers.

not to mention it stops people from kicking you in the F*CKING HEAD!

somebody's going to hurt him.

I do not know if this applies to the NFL, but there is a massive problem in College Football this year regarding helmets because of the intersection of two events. The first being the new rule that if your helmet comes off during the play, you have to sit out for ATLEAST the followin play. In addition to this the primary helmet manufacturer changed the design of the helmet to where the side wall where the chin strap connects is thinner, making it weaker and more susceptible to force, making the strap connectors disconnect much easier. This has nothing to do with the fitting of the helmet, it is a design issue, and one that was originally made for safety but is having a side effect.

I do not know if this is an issue in the NFL or not, but it is something to think about.

    • I agree but he honestly has gotten better about this. Used to be he’d do it like 4-5 times a game, now it’s like 2-3. Overall I’m incredibly happy with his game, his D has been solid and when he is playing his role he’s a solid scorer and one of the few guys who can consistently finish at the rim and provide that threat. Plus he’s electric and LaMelo loves him. Going into the season I was sure he would just be a stop gap here but now I’m reconsidering and could see him continue to be a “core” piece here. Obviously not on the level of the other starters but he is an important cog for this team. We felt his missed presence during his and Moose’s suspensions.
    • Philly will be a bigger challenge than the Knicks were IMO. George and Embiid are back, not sure about Maxey but Embiid alone is a nightmare matchup for us and Moose. We’ve never really done well against him. Celtics added Tatum but honestly not sure they’re all that much better with him right now than they were when we whooped them a few weeks ago. We should be able to at the very least split these 2, hopefully take both.
